Objectives:

• To identify and celebrate emerging Soca talents in Tobago.
• To create an exciting and high-quality live entertainment event.
• To contribute to the festivities and cultural development associated with Tobago Carnival.
• To assist with arming our emerging soca talents with technical and branding tools needed to aid in their musical and business development.

Structure:

• Preliminary Judging Round: October 5th
  • The fifteen highest-scoring singers will proceed to the semi-finals. 
  • Judges give overall comments and suggestions to aid in improving craft and performance. 
• Semi-Finals: October 25th
  • Each finalist will be given a six-minute (6 min.) performance time limit.
  • The eight highest-scoring singers will proceed to the finals. 
  • People’s Choice will be awarded. 
• Finals:
  • February 2024 

Rules: Tobago Soca Monarch

• Open to performers seventeen (17) years and older. 
• Soca songs must be original and have never entered into competition in Tobago.  Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
• Please walk with your accompanying music on a flash drive
