The countdown is on for Tobago Carnival which will take place on the weekend of October 28 and there are lots in store for the festival.
The Carnival weekend will kick off on Friday, October 28 with a Pan show from Pan Trinbago.
On the morning of Saturday, October 29, there will be J’ouvert which will then lead into a Mud Festival at Mud City in Crown Point. The Mud City, Trim revealed, will see performances from 3 Canal, Mr Killa and other Grenadian acts.
The Mud Festival will start at 9 am and ends at 2 pm. There are two other events planned for that afternoon, one of which Trim is holding close to her chest. The other, is the Tobago Emerge Masquerade Gala, a Met-style affair that will see patrons dressed in elaborate costumes. Roxborough will also host a Night Mas on Saturday night,
Sunday will see the parade of bands in Scarborough.
There will be a number of privately-run events as well.
