Tobago Carnival 2025 will have a mixture of street parades ( J’ouvert, Night Mas, and the Parade of Bands) and listed static events produced by the Tobago House of Assembly and local promoters. For more information, visit our website (welcometobago.com) and browse the “Event Calendar” page.
Our street parades, J’ouvert, Night Mas and Parade of the Bands, will all be centralised to Scarborough. A more detailed route of the street parades mentioned above will be published on our website (www.welcometobago.com) at a later date.
Traditional Mas is included, and bands are encouraged to register for one or all of our events (J’ouvert, Night Mas and/or Parade of Bands).
The route for both J’ouvert and Night Mas can be found on our website. The Parade of Bands route will be published at a later date.
Registration begins on Tuesday, 5th August 2025 and closes on Tuesday, 19th August 2025. All bands are welcome to register. To register a band for carnival, you will be required to do the following:
- Review and sign the participation Agreement
- Fill out the registration form on our website www.welcometobago.com
- Pay the Non refundable registration fee by Thursday 28th August. (Jouvert: $500TTD,Night Mas $300TTD, Parade of Bands:$500TTD)
- Pay the refundable participation fee (see fee breakdown below) by Thursday 28th August.

Yes. The fees are as follows:
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of Five Hundred Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $500) is payable by each participating band to confirm inclusion in the Tobago Carnival 2025. - Parade Participation Fee
In addition to the base registration fee, each band must pay a Parade Participation Fee as follows:
- Large: Two Thousand Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $2,000) per parade.
- Medium Bands: One Thousand Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $1,000) per parade.
- Small Bands: Seven Hundred Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $700.00) per parade.
NB: This Parade Participation Fee shall be refunded in full to bands that demonstrate participation of (minimum) 100 ( Small bands), 200 (Medium Bands), and 300 (large bands) registered Masqueraders on the road during their respective parades. These numbers must be confirmed by an authorised official of the Tobago Festivals Commission limited on the day of the parade for the refund to be processed.
- Exemption for Night Mas Bands
Given the premature conclusion of the Night Mas parade in 2024, the revised fee structure outlined in Clause 5 shall not apply to bands participating exclusively in Night Mas for the 2025 Carnival cycle. - Traditional Mas Bands
Traditional mas bands shall be exempt from the Parade Participation Fee structure. Their registration terms remain consistent with previous years.
Bands are to engage music trucks at their own expense, which should not exceed 30ft long. Please note that music trucks hired by bands will be subjected to the same guidelines as THA-procured trucks.
Vending is allowed at all of the events. Vendors can set up along the advertised routes at their own cost. All vendors must have a valid food badge and meet the food safety standards set by the Health Department.
The listing of registered bands will be accessible through our secretariat located at the Tobago Festivals Commission Limited office, GNV Place, Wilson Road, Scarborough, Tobago and on our website, “welcometobago.com”, from Thursday, 21st August 2025.
Yes, Trinidad bands are allowed to register and participate in all of our parades.

There are no restrictions. Bands reserve the right to provide an all-inclusive or semi-inclusive experience for their masqueraders.
